Bioarchaeology
BioArch Consulting provides a range of services relating to bioarchaeology, osteology and field archaeology in New Zealand. We can provide consultation to contractors, developers, government agencies, and Iwi or community groups. We specialize in bone identification, excavation, and analysis.
Disclaimer: No human remains are shown on this site. All work involving human remains in New Zealand must be carried out in accordance with the Coroners Act 2006, Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga Act 2014, Burial and Cremation Act 1964. In keeping with this legislation if you believe you may have uncovered human remains please do not disturb them. Instead note the exact location, take photographs if possible (without moving or disturbing the remains) and contact the NZ Police and/or Heritage New Zealand immediately.
